Action Staffing Ltd is currently representing a high-quality nursery setting in Harrow (HA1). We are looking for an experienced Senior Nursery Nurse or current Room Leader to head up a department.

This position is unique because it offers a flat £30,000 salary for a standard 40-hour week without requiring long overtime hours.

Your Responsibilities

As a Room Leader, you will set the standard for care and education:

• Mentor and direct a team of Nursery Practitioners to ensure high standards
• Oversee the delivery of the EYFS curriculum to ensure all children are learning and developing
• Ensure staff-to-child ratios, daily routines, and health & safety standards are met
• Act as the main point of contact for parents and provide detailed developmental feedback
• Ensure all child protection and safeguarding policies are strictly followed

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Previous experience as a Room Leader or a highly experienced Senior Nursery Practitioner ready to step up
• Minimum Level 3 NVQ/CACHE Diploma in Early Years (or higher)
• Strong leadership, communication, and passion for child development
• Ability to commute to Harrow (HA1 4EJ)

• Salary: £30,000 per annum
• Hours: 40 hours per week
