About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd has a fantastic opening for a Level 3 Room Leader to join a friendly team in Brentwood (CM14).

This position is ideal for an experienced Nursery Nurse who wants to take on more responsibility while keeping their school holidays completely free with a Term-Time Only contract!

Your Responsibilities

As the Room Leader, you will take ownership of your designated room:

  • Lead your designated room, ensuring a stimulating, safe, and happy environment for the children
  • Use your knowledge of the EYFS framework to plan engaging activities and track child progress effectively
  • Build trust with parents through clear, professional communication about their child’s day
  • Mentor junior practitioners and maintain room safety and compliance

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • Level 3 Qualification in Childcare or Early Years
  • Previous experience as a Key Person or Nursery Assistant in an established setting
  • A positive, creative, and energetic approach to Early Years education
  • Ability to commute to Brentwood (CM14)

Salary & Working Hours

  • Salary: Competitive salary based on experience
  • Schedule: Term-Time Only (Full-Time hours during term time, all school holidays off)
  • Employment Type: Permanent, Term-Time
