Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Ofsted-registered day nursery located on Inglis Road, London W5, for a confident and capable Nursery Manager to lead the setting and oversee all aspects of nursery operations.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will be responsible for the overall leadership and daily management of the nursery:

• Ensure the highest standards of care, education, safeguarding, and compliance with EYFS and Ofsted requirements
• Lead and support the nursery team, manage staffing, and oversee operational duties
• Oversee safeguarding practices and ensure a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment where children can thrive
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and external professionals
• Maintain excellent communication and high-quality service standards throughout the setting
• Drive continuous improvement and maintain outstanding childcare practice across all areas of the nursery

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognized Level 3 or above qualification in Early Years (Level 5 or management qualification is highly desirable)
• Proven experience in a nursery management or senior leadership role
• Strong knowledge of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, Ofsted inspection standards, and child development
• Confident leadership with excellent organisational and communication skills
• Ability to motivate a team and maintain high standards under pressure

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.
