About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Ofsted-registered day nursery in Burnham (SL1) for qualified Early Years Educators to join their friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will work as part of a supportive early years team to deliver high-quality care and education:

• Deliver high-quality care and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Create a safe, stimulating and nurturing environment where children can learn, explore and develop with confidence
• Plan and deliver engaging activities tailored to children's needs
• Carry out observations and assessments, supporting children’s social, emotional and physical development
• Maintain accurate learning records
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing at all times

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, such as CACHE, NVQ or equivalent
• Experience working in a nursery or early years setting
• A strong understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and child development
• Caring, enthusiastic, and reliable approach with a commitment to delivering high-quality childcare
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: Starting from National Minimum Wage up to £26,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)
