Nursery Practitioner (Level 2)

About the Role

Are you a dedicated Level 2 Nursery Practitioner looking for a full-time opportunity in Bromley, South East London?

Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting on behalf of a well-established Ofsted-registered day nursery in Bromley (BR2) for a qualified Early Years Educator to join their supportive team on a permanent basis.

Your Responsibilities

As part of a caring and professional early years team, you will:

• Deliver high-quality childcare and education in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Support children's learning and development through engaging activities
• Carry out observations and assessments
• Support each child's individual needs
• Help create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment
• Build positive relationships with parents and carers
• Contribute to daily nursery routines
• Maintain high standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised Level 2 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, such as CACHE, NVQ or equivalent
• Experience working within a nursery or early years setting
• A good understanding of the EYFS framework
• Knowledge of safeguarding procedures and child development
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A caring, reliable and enthusiastic approach

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: £26,000 per annum
• Hours: Full-time
• Schedule: 5 days per week
• Employment Type: Permanent
