Action Staffing Ltd is currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Ofsted-registered day nursery in Mitcham, South West London (CR4) for a dedicated and caring Nursery Practitioner to join their friendly team on a full-time, permanent basis.

Your Responsibilities

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will play a key role in providing high-quality care and education:

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Support children's learning and development, carrying out observations and assessments
• Maintain accurate learning records and promote each child's individual development
• Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Maintain the highest standards of safeguarding, health and safety, and wellbeing at all times
• Contribute to creating an inclusive environment where every child feels valued, supported, and encouraged to reach their full potential

Requirements

The ideal candidate will have:

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, such as CACHE, NVQ or equivalent
• Previous experience working within a nursery, preschool, or early years setting (desirable)
• Good understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, child development, and Ofsted requirements
• Enthusiastic, reliable, caring, and committed approach to delivering outstanding childcare
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

An Enhanced DBS check will be required before employment.
