Your Responsibilities

As a Nursery Practitioner, you will provide high-quality care and education in a safe, nurturing and stimulating environment:

• Plan and deliver engaging activities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework
• Encourage children to learn, explore, and reach their full potential
• Carry out observations and assessments, monitoring children's progress across social, emotional, physical and cognitive development
• Maintain a positive learning environment alongside colleagues
• Build strong relationships with parents and carers
• Ensure the nursery consistently meets Ofsted, safeguarding, health and safety, and welfare standards

Requirements

The successful candidate will have:

• A recognised Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare, such as CACHE, NVQ or equivalent
• Previous experience working in a nursery, preschool, or early years setting (desirable)
• Sound understanding of the EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and child development
• Positive, reliable, and caring approach with excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to delivering outstanding childcare and early years education

An Enhanced DBS check will be required before employment.
