Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Educator

Action Staffing Ltd is currently recruiting a passionate, Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioner on behalf of a premier early years setting located in the modern riverside district of Wapping, London (E1W).

Your Responsibilities

As a core member of the staff team, you will bring your deep knowledge of child development to life:

• Plan, prepare, and implement creative, stimulating activities based on the EYFS statutory framework
• Act as a dedicated Key Person, conducting regular observations, tracking developmental milestones, and maintaining accurate learning journeys
• Foster open, professional, and trusting relationships with parents and carers, providing daily updates
• Maintain an exceptionally safe, hygienic, and nurturing environment, strictly adhering to safeguarding and health & safety regulations
• Work cooperatively alongside fellow practitioners, room leaders, and senior management to ensure daily nursery routines run seamlessly

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A recognized Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years)
• Proven experience working as a qualified practitioner within a registered day nursery or pre-school setting
• Solid, practical understanding of the statutory EYFS framework, child protection procedures, and positive behavior guidance
• Exceptional communication skills, excellent time-management, and a reliable work ethic

Salary & Working Hours

• Hours: Full-Time (40 Hours per Week | Monday to Friday)
