Full-Time Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Educator (Level 3 or experienced Level 2)

Action Staffing Ltd is currently recruiting a passionate Full-Time Nursery Practitioner / Early Years Educator (Level 3 or experienced Level 2) on behalf of a wonderful early years setting in London SE18.

This permanent position offers a highly competitive salary of up to £34,000 per annum, representing one of the highest-paying practitioner roles in the sector.

Your Responsibilities

As a core educator, your duties will include:

• Plan, prepare, and implement creative, age-appropriate learning activities that stimulate child development
• Manage a small group of key children, tracking their milestones and providing regular progress feedback
• Support children during daily routines including mealtimes, outdoor play, and personal care
• Strictly adhere to the setting’s safeguarding policies, health and safety regulations, and cleanliness standards
• Partner effectively with team members and senior management to ensure the room runs smoothly

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A recognized Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher (or a Level 2 Qualification backed by extensive experience)
• A minimum of 2 years of recent, continuous experience working in a registered nursery setting while qualified
• Comprehensive, practical understanding of the EYFS framework, child development stages, and positive behavior guidance
• Strong communication skills, exceptional reliability, and a proactive attitude

A clean Enhanced DBS check is required for this position.

• Salary: Up to £34,000 per annum (dependent on experience and qualification level)
