What You Will Do
- Delivering dignified, person-centred daily care to elderly residents, vulnerable adults, and service users with complex support needs or dementia.
- Assisting with daily personal care routines, including washing, dressing, personal hygiene, and toileting support.
- Operating mobility and moving & handling equipment (hoists, stand-aids, slide sheets) safely in accordance with individual care plans.
- Supporting residents at mealtimes, promoting hydration, and accurately completing daily care logs and fluid/nutrition records.
- Collaborating with Registered Nurses, Senior Carers, and care home managers to ensure safety, dignity, and high standard of care delivery.
- Following CQC regulations, infection prevention and control procedures, and safeguarding standards at all times.
Who We Are Looking For
- Experience: Minimum 6 months of paid experience working as a Healthcare Assistant, Care Worker, or Support Worker in a UK care home, hospital, or community setting within the last 2 years.
- Right to Work: Verified Right to Work in the UK (we currently cannot offer visa sponsorship for agency shifts).
- DBS: An Enhanced DBS Certificate (Adult Workforce) registered on the DBS Update Service, or willingness to process an expedited check with us.
- References: 2 verifiable professional employment references (including your most recent health or social care employer).
- Training: Valid mandatory care training certificates (Moving & Handling, Safeguarding Adults, Basic Life Support, Infection Control), or willingness to complete refreshers.
