Registered Nurse (Complex Needs & Palliative Care)

About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd is seeking a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse specialising in complex health needs and palliative care for a dedicated nursing setting in Gravesend, Kent.

This setting prides itself on delivering dignified, warm, and individualised end-of-life and complex clinical care.

Your Responsibilities

As a Complex Care Registered Nurse, you will:

• Provide sensitive, dignified clinical and palliative care to residents with end-of-life needs
• Administer pain relief medication, syringe drivers, and specialised clinical therapies
• Maintain comprehensive, empathetic communication with residents and their loved ones
• Lead multidisciplinary discussions with local hospice teams and palliative specialists
• Support junior colleagues with emotional resilience and clinical coaching

Requirements

Requirements for this role include:

• Current NMC Registration (RGN or RMN)
• Demonstrated experience in palliative care, syringe driver management, and complex nursing
• Deep empathy, patience, and outstanding active listening skills
• Strong understanding of gold standard frameworks (GSF) in palliative care

An Enhanced DBS check will be undertaken prior to employment.

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: £22.50 to £24.00 per hour
• Hours: 36 to 42 hours per week
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Full clinical training refreshers, employee assistance programme, and pension contribution

The care facility is based in Gravesend, Kent.

Easily reachable via high-speed rail links from London St Pancras and surrounding North Kent communities.
