Staff Nurse (Care Home / Rehabilitation Care)

About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting a dedicated Staff Nurse on behalf of a premier care centre in Carluke, Lanarkshire.

The home provides high-quality residential, nursing, and intermediate rehabilitation care for older adults, offering a supportive workplace with structured clinical guidance.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, your daily duties will involve:

• Delivering person-centred nursing care that supports resident recovery and independence
• Administering prescribed medications and overseeing medical supplies management
• Implementing and updating care plans to ensure accurate clinical tracking
• Working collaboratively with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and visiting clinicians
• Supervising healthcare assistants and maintaining a safe, nurturing care environment

Requirements

We are looking for:

• Active NMC Registration (RGN or RMN)
• Clinical experience or keen interest in elder care, stroke recovery, and rehabilitation
• Sound understanding of Care Inspectorate standards and Scottish health guidelines
• Excellent team collaboration, initiative, and communication skills

A PVG Scheme check will be processed prior to start.

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: £21.00 to £22.00 per hour plus joining bonus benefits
• Hours: 36 to 40 hours per week (Day and night rotational shift patterns available)
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Paid breaks, company pension, and funded continuous professional development (CPD)

The home is located in Carluke, South Lanarkshire.

Conveniently located near the local rail station with easy commuter access from Glasgow, Motherwell, and Lanark.
