Action Staffing Ltd is currently recruiting a passionate and highly organized Preschool Manager / Nursery Manager on behalf of a premier early years provider based in Woodford Green, Greater London (IG8).

This is a permanent, full-time leadership position designed for a confident manager who thrives on maintaining high pedagogical standards, building wonderful parent partnerships, and fostering a supportive staff culture.

Your Responsibilities

As the Preschool Manager, you will hold overall operational and educational responsibility for the setting:

• Manage the daily operations, finances, and occupancy of the preschool
• Supervise, inspire, and develop the early years staff team through regular performance reviews and training
• Oversee the planning and delivery of a rich, creative curriculum based on the EYFS framework tailored for preschool children
• Maintain total compliance with Ofsted requirements, health and safety regulations, and safeguarding legislation
• Build strong, trusting relationships with parents and carers, hosting show-arounds and keeping families involved

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A recognized Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher (Degree in Early Childhood Studies, EYPS, or EYTS highly desirable)
• Proven track record working as a Nursery Manager, Preschool Manager, or an experienced Deputy Manager ready to step up
• Deep, practical understanding of the statutory EYFS framework, safeguarding procedures, and Ofsted inspection frameworks
• Strong organizational and business skills managing rotas, nursery software, and parent communications

A clear Enhanced DBS check is required before starting.

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: Highly attractive salary package, fully negotiable depending on experience
• Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
