Level 3 Nursery Practitioner (Full-Time | 4 or 5 Day Week Options)

About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd is currently recruiting six dedicated, Level 3 Qualified Nursery Practitioners on behalf of a wonderful, expanding early years setting in Hither Green, London (SE13).

With multiple openings available across all age groups (Babies, Toddlers, and Pre-School), you can choose to work your 40 hours across a standard 5-day week or compress your hours into a 4-day week (7:30 AM to 6:30 PM).

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will deliver high-quality care and support children's development:

• Plan and implement creative, stimulating, and age-appropriate learning experiences based on the EYFS framework
• Manage a dedicated group of key children, conducting regular observations and tracking milestones
• Build trusting, professional relationships with parents and carers, providing informative daily feedback
• Maintain an exceptionally safe, clean, and nurturing environment adhering strictly to safeguarding policies
• Work dynamically alongside fellow practitioners and senior staff to ensure daily routines run smoothly

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A recognized Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher (e.g., CACHE Level 3, NVQ Level 3 in Childcare/Early Years)
• Proven experience working as a qualified practitioner within a registered daycare or pre-school environment
• Solid, practical understanding of the statutory EYFS framework, safeguarding principles, and positive behavior guidance
• Strong communication skills, exceptional reliability, and a proactive attitude

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: £30,000 per annum (Fixed permanent salary)
• Hours: 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday, no weekends)
• Shift Flexibility:
  • Standard 5-day week (rotating shifts between 7:30 AM and 6:30 PM)
  • Compressed 4-day week (7:30 AM to 6:30 PM)
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
