Your Responsibilities

As a Level 2 Nursery Practitioner, you will work closely with Room Leaders and Level 3 staff:

• Support the delivery of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework through engaging, play-based activities
• Assist with daily routines, including mealtimes, sleep monitoring, nappy changing, and personal care
• Act as a Key Person for a small group of children, helping to observe and record developmental milestones
• Help set up and clear away creative activities, ensuring the environment is safe, stimulating, and inclusive
• Strictly follow all policies regarding child protection, health & safety, and hygiene
• Build warm, professional relationships with parents and carers during drop-offs and pick-ups

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A recognized Level 2 qualification in Childcare / Early Years (e.g., CACHE, NVQ, or BTEC Level 2)
• Previous hands-on experience working with children aged 0-5 in a nursery or pre-school setting
• Positive attitude, great teamwork skills, and genuine passion for early childhood development
• Must be able to commute reliably to Forest Green, Nailsworth (GL6 0ET)
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one) and right to work in the UK

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: Highly competitive hourly rate/salary reflecting qualifications and experience
• Working Hours: Full-time, standard nursery hours (Monday to Friday)
• Employment Type: Full-Time, Permanent
• Full support and funded training provided to help you achieve your Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification!
