About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd is searching for an experienced and visionary Nursery Manager to lead a high-quality setting in Brentwood (CM14).

Your Responsibilities

As the Nursery Manager, you will have strategic leadership of the setting:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursery, ensuring full compliance with Ofsted regulations and EYFS statutory requirements
• Recruit, mentor, and inspire a team of Early Years Educators to deliver exceptional care
• Manage budgets, occupancy levels, and operational resources
• Maintain strong relationships with local families in Warley and Brentwood
• Safeguard all children and maintain highest health and safety protocols

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Level 3 NVQ/Diploma in Childcare (Level 5 or higher is preferred)
• Proven experience in a Nursery Management or Deputy role
• Strong leadership skills and deep knowledge of safeguarding and child protection
• Excellent organizational and commercial acumen

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: Highly competitive management salary based on experience
• Schedule: Term-Time Only (Full-Time hours during term time)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Term-Time
