About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting an experienced Deputy Nursery Manager (DM) or Senior Room Leader for a high-quality, 57-place Early Years setting in London E11 (Leytonstone).

This Childcare Job is ideal for an Early Years Manager or Senior Practitioner seeking a permanent role in a well-established, 3-nursery group.

This is a great chance for a Senior Room Leader to progress or an experienced Deputy Manager to secure a top-tier salary package.

Your Responsibilities

As Deputy Manager, you will support operational management and educational standards:

• Lead and mentor a team of 20+ early years staff members
• Support the Nursery Manager with daily logistics, rotas, and setting operations
• Implement and oversee the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework across all rooms
• Manage SENCo responsibilities and coordinate specialized support
• Maintain strict Safeguarding (DSL) standards and Ofsted compliance throughout the setting

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• Level 3, Level 5, or Level 6 Childcare Qualification
• Previous experience as a Deputy Manager or Senior Room Leader in a medium-to-large nursery
• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework, SENCo processes, and DSL safeguarding procedures
• Proven leadership, communication, and organizational capabilities

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.

• Salary: Competitive salary of up to £38,750+ per annum
