About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting a Level 2 Nursery Assistant, Level 3 Nursery Practitioner, or Room Leader for high-quality Early Years settings across London.

This Childcare Job is ideal for an Early Years Educator or Nursery Nurse seeking a permanent role with a desirable 4-day work week option.

This is a great chance for a Nursery Assistant to progress or a Senior Practitioner to move into Nursery Management.

Your Responsibilities

In this role, you will deliver high-quality early childhood education:

• Implement the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) Framework through creative activities
• Maintain the highest safeguarding and child protection standards
• Support child development, learning journeys, and milestone tracking
• Act as a key worker, building supportive partnerships with parents and carers
• Collaborate with the nursery team to maintain a safe, stimulating environment

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A recognized Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification
• Passion for early childhood education, preschool teaching, and child development
• Strong communication, reliability, and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a UK day nursery or preschool setting is preferred

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.
