This Childcare Leadership Job is designed for a Level 3 Qualified professional who wants to balance 80% room-based work with 20% management responsibilities.

This is the perfect role for someone aiming to become a full Deputy Manager within the next 12 months, offering a clear path for professional growth.

Your Responsibilities

In this dual practitioner and leadership role, you will:

• Support the Nursery Manager in daily nursery operations and logistics
• Provide outstanding room-based practice and mentoring for early years staff
• Help maintain continuous Ofsted readiness and regulatory compliance
• Deliver excellence in the EYFS Framework across learning routines
• Build strong relationships with parents, carers, and colleagues

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A recognized Level 3 Childcare Qualification or higher
• Experience as a Senior Nursery Practitioner or Room Leader ready for management
• Passion for EYFS excellence and child development
• Strong organizational, interpersonal, and leadership qualities

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.
