About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd is looking for an Unqualified Nursery Assistant, Childcare Apprentice, or Trainee Early Years Educator to join a friendly Early Years team in London.

This Entry Level Childcare Job is perfect for someone looking to start a career in Education or Social Care with an immediate start. No previous experience or childcare qualifications are required!

This role offers a great path to earn while you learn and gain your Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Qualification in a professional Nursery School setting.

Your Responsibilities

As a Trainee / Assistant, you will learn hands-on while supporting the qualified team:

• Support the Qualified Nursery Practitioner team in delivering the EYFS Framework
• Assist with daily routines, learning through play, and creative activities for Toddlers and Preschool children
• Help maintain high safeguarding, health, and hygiene standards
• Assist with mealtime supervision, outdoor play, and setting up learning areas
• Engage enthusiastically in training modules towards your early years qualification

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• No previous childcare qualifications required—entry-level role!
• A genuine passion for Early Years Education, child development, and learning through play
• Willingness to learn, study, and complete a Level 2 or Level 3 Childcare Apprenticeship
• Reliable, caring, and enthusiastic approach with good communication skills

Subject to a clear Enhanced DBS check.

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: Competitive apprentice/entry-level wages (Earn while you learn!)
• Options Available: Permanent full-time, Childcare Apprenticeship, or Term-Time work
• Fully funded training to achieve your Level 2 or Level 3 Early Years Qualification
