Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting an ambitious Senior Nursery Practitioner | Early Years Educator (Deputy Room Leader or Third in Charge) for the Baby Room at a high-quality nursery in New Malden, South West London.

This Childcare Job is perfect for a Qualified Nursery Nurse with a Level 3 Childcare Qualification looking for a 4-day working week option.

Your Responsibilities

As Deputy Room Leader in the Baby Room, you will:

• Support the Room Leader in managing daily routines, infant care, and baby room operations
• Implement the EYFS Framework tailored to infants and toddlers
• Maintain the highest safeguarding, health, and hygiene standards for babies
• Lead by example and mentor Nursery Assistants and apprentices
• Work closely with the Nursery Manager to deliver outstanding Early Years Education

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A recognized Level 3 Childcare Qualification
• Proven experience working with babies and toddlers in an early years setting
• Passion for child development and mentoring junior staff
• Strong understanding of safeguarding and the EYFS framework

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.
