Your Responsibilities

As a Deputy Room Leader in New Malden, you will:

• Support the Room Leader in managing daily routines, learning schedules, and room operations
• Implement the EYFS Framework to deliver outstanding Early Years Education
• Ensure the highest safeguarding and child welfare standards are met at all times
• Lead by example and mentor Nursery Assistants across Toddler and Preschool rooms
• Work closely with the Nursery Manager to support overall nursery excellence

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A recognized Level 3 Childcare Qualification
• Passion for child development, preschool learning, and early years leadership
• Previous experience in a UK nursery setting as a qualified practitioner
• Excellent communication skills, enthusiasm, and dedication to high-quality care

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.
