About the Role

Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting a high-level Nursery Manager | Early Years Manager for a premier London setting in Wandsworth, London (SW18).

This Childcare Management Job in London is a senior leadership position requiring a minimum of 5 years of management experience in a professional London Nursery School or Day Nursery environment.

As a Qualified Nursery Manager, you will lead a team of over 15 staff members and manage a busy setting of 40-plus children.

Your Responsibilities

As the Nursery Manager, you will oversee all operational and pedagogical excellence:

• Lead, supervise, and develop a team of over 15 early years staff members
• Manage a busy setting of 40+ children, ensuring operational and commercial success
• Act as Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) with extensive experience working with London outside agencies and the Ofsted inspection framework
• Lead the implementation of the EYFS Framework, child development tracking, and educational quality
• Oversee staffing rotas, occupancy, budgets, and parent liaison

Requirements

What we are looking for:

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in Nursery Management within a UK nursery setting
• Experienced Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) with outside agency liaison experience
• Strong track record in Ofsted framework compliance and EYFS implementation
• Living within a 40-minute commute of the setting in Wandsworth
• Exceptional leadership, staff supervision, and parental communication skills

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.

Salary & Working Hours

• Salary: Competitive salary of up to £44,000 per annum
• Employment Type: Full Time / Part Time flexible working hours available, Permanent
