About the Role

Are you a compassionate Nursery Practitioner with experience in SEN (Special Educational Needs)?

Action Staffing Ltd is recruiting for specialized 1-to-1 Support roles and SENCo Assistant positions for high-quality early years settings.

This is a deeply rewarding Childcare Job for those dedicated to inclusive Early Years Education, helping every child reach their potential.

Your Responsibilities

In this specialized SEN support role, you will:

  • Work closely with children who require extra support on a 1-to-1 basis
  • Implement tailored Individual Education Plans (IEPs)
  • Collaborate with SENCOs, parents, and outside agencies to support child progress
  • Provide compassionate, nurturing care tailored to individual developmental needs
  • Help create an inclusive, supportive learning environment within the nursery

Requirements

What we are looking for:

  • A recognized Level 3 Childcare Qualification
  • Specialized training or experience in Autism awareness, Makaton, or Speech and Language support
  • Compassionate, patient, and empathetic approach to child development
  • Practical knowledge of inclusive early years education and the EYFS framework

An Enhanced DBS check will be required prior to employment.

  • Salary: Competitive hourly rate / salary based on experience and SEN credentials
